From Our Readers

I have just finished reading the July issue of Sewing Savvy and plan to change a ready-made T-shirt into a Cut-n-Sew T-shirt (page 56). I also have begun making a Wrap (page 48) for my daughter. I like the ability to do some hand embroidery (page 62) while I watch TV with my husband. I also like the way each issue's patterns are summarized on the last page of the magazine for easy reference. The last few magazine issues have improved in quality and present a greater variety of articles. You have inspired me to renew my subscription to Sewing Savvy.

I have just purchased the September 2008 issue of Sewing Savvy and am in awe at the jacket on the front cover. My friend and I have decided we must make it immediately.

I have been a subscriber to Sewing Savvy for several years and at least 3 incarnations of it. I have watched it grow from a nice little magazine with an idea or two to a useful sewing partner. I have over 40 years of sewing experience, so you have to go a little farther to teach me something new or wow me. In the past year (at least) I have seen each issue present an interesting twist on something I'm familiar with along with some very good new ideas. The May 2008 issue was like Christmas every time I turned the page! It just kept getting more and more interesting and useful. Even if I had seen similar projects, there was that wonderful twist! The "Wet or Dry?" bag was just genius! How simple, but so cute and useful in solving the wet dilemma that I have had more than once. With such ease of creation each family member can have a personalized one. I plan to make the bridal purse for a gift this month. Please keep up the good work.

I have been an avid sewer for at least 35 years. I just received my first issue of Sewing Savvy and absolutely love it. I wish I had known about this magazine years ago. I will be a subscriber for "life." Thanks for the great magazine.
