Julie's Journal
Trials and Tribulations
Following is a journal of my trials and tribulations embellished with some sewing humor as I continually strive to sew the perfect project.
For me, the holiday season is a time of reflection. I like to reflect on what I learned in the past year and also create goals for the new year. Often this evaluation is pretty simple and doesn't take much time, but as I age, I find there is so much I want to do before I'm too old.
Since sewing is such a large part of my life, it dominates my reflections. Sewing, like many other crafts, has so many avenues to explore. It is easy to continually learn new techniques that I can share with you, my reader.
So, I guess to start, should be what I learned this year. I learned that there are some fabulous designers just waiting to be discovered. Often, great designers teach at local stores or participate in area seminars. I learned that for every sewing question, at least ten equally feasible solutions exist. I learned that my readers are wonderful and caring people who love to share their love of sewing with other readers and support numerous nonprofits with their sewing skills.
If you have a minute, write me a line and let me know what you learned this year. I love to hear from you, and who knows, maybe you’ll see your question answered on this Web site.
